Oh snap, didn't set your alarm or stay up late to order the iPhone 5 on Apple's website at 3am EST this morning? While your faithful MobileTechReview staff nailed one at 3:02am EST for next day shipping and delivery on Sept. 21, you'll now have to wait two weeks for delivery of Cupertino's shiniest new smartphone running iOS 6. Or, you could join the host of line-lovers and wait at your local Apple or carrier store to grab one sooner, starting Sept 21.
All three US carrier models (AT&T, Verizon Wireless and Sprint) are now a 2 week wait and the initial batch sold out in just an hour: a new Apple record. Knowing Apple, the wait could get even longer. The iPhone 5 is available in your choice of black or white and it has 4G LTE, a 4" Retina Display, the beloved Siri and it runs iOS 6. For those of you with existing iPhones (3GS and newer), you'll be able to download and upgrade your phone to iOS 6 on Sept. 19.
