What's Hot: Very easy to make your own case, nice printing quality, print can cover entire case.

What's Not: Not cheap.

Caseable is a young urban company that has production in both New York and Berlin. They make cases and sleeves for laptops, ebook readers, tablets and smartphones. There are two distinctive unique factors in Caseable products: one is that you can easily make a case or sleeve with your own design or pick from their featured artists' designs, and the other one is that their cases and sleeves are mostly made with recycled products.

Design

The most popular product for laptops from Caseable is the soft sleeve case. You can get a laptop sleeve for your PC in any size between 10" to 17" and all Mac laptop models. The cases fit the targeted laptop very well. Caseable also offers the sleeve case for iPad models, Kindles and some models of Android tablets. We look at the MacBook Pro 15" Sleeve for the Retina Display mode which also fits the regular MacBook Pro 15" laptop.

The caseable sleeve has reasonably thickness at 0.2" and it can protect the notebook from scratches and slight bumps, and it's thin enough that you can fit the sleeved notebook in another computer bag. The sleeve case uses high quality recycled material from Germany, Japan and China, and it feels as durable as other neoprene cases. The material does have a tire rubber-like odor when it's new and fresh.

The caseable MacBook Pro 15" Sleeve has reasonably strong stitching and strong, heavy-duty zipper. The case is form fitting and adds only 10.2 ounces to your travel bag.

Features

The most attractive feature on the caseable sleeve cases is the ability to print anything you wish. The case maker offers a large selection of designs from classic art pieces to modern hip designers and artists' graphics. The available prints range from playful to abstract to city-centric to slogans and much more. But for people who already have a design, a picture or a painting in mind, caseable offers an excellent web interface for you to upload your own image, position it on your sleeve and have it printed on your case. You can use your design on either or both sides of the sleeve and choose a solid color should you only need the graphics on one side. The print quality is quite good with clear graphics and accurate colors.

In addition to the graphics, you can also customize the configuration of the sleeve. You can choose different zipper color and add shoulder strap and handle to the sleeve. The customized graphics case takes about 12 days to ship.

Conclusion

If you need a sleeve case for your notebook that says who you are (with your initials printed on it) or what you like (your school team mascot) or anything you enjoy looking at, caseable makes the design, print and order process super easy. The sleeve case is well made from recycled material and the printing has good quality. The case is highly customizable from the graphics to configuration and every case is form fitting for that notebook it's intended to protect. It's lightweight and can fit in another bag with a bit of extra space for your notebook. The only thing that might be a hard sell is the price.
