I'm torn between the Samsung note pro 12.2 and the Sony flip 15A. I've spent many hours watching and reading reviews on each one and I've actually had both (thanks to BB's nice exchange policy) but I have to make a final choice.
I like the fact that the Sony has a nice laptop convertible design with a nice display to draw, plus it seems from some benchmarks to be about 3x more powerful then the note pro 12.2. But 15" just seems to big to lug around from home to the office everyday (I try to justify my purchase by bringing it to work to listen to ITunes). I also use it at work to markup PDFs occasionally. The other reasons I really like the Sony, is I can use ITunes, use Airplay on my home AV receiver, run some Steam games, not that I'm a huge gamer mind you. I also don't mind Windows 8.1, and the included apps.
While on the other hand I like the pro 12.2 size, the fact it has an active digitizer also. But its not a computer, and it seems just a bit expensive for what you get. I have a galaxy note 3 phone, and I do really like the flipboard apps. If I go with the Galaxy I'd really like to convert all my music (6,000+ songs) to mp3 to transfer to an SD card so I don't have to rely on wifi everywhere. I've tried the converter in ITunes but that turned into a disaster, many didn't convert, etc. Any suggestions? I think I can also use a Chromecast to play my music through my AV Receiver and mark up PDF's the same as the Sony.
So in conclusion, I need some guidance about what to stick with and soon, my 15 day return date is coming up soon! Any thoughts?
