UMPC News: Fujitsu Unveils the LifeBook U2010 UMPC in Asia

Fujitsu PC Asia Pacific today introduced the LifeBook U2010, the successor of the popular LifeBook U1010 Ultra Mobile PC (UMPC). More info on this new UMPC from today's announcement:

The Fujitsu LifeBook U2010 offers high resolution SuperFine 5.6" WXGA 1280 x 800 screen with 300nits brightness and a one-touch Raku Raku zoom button for optimal viewing. Available in Ocean Black, Pink Gold, Cool Silver, Fuchsia Red and Luminous Blue, the petite U2010 is lightweight (610g) and has full-featured Windows Operating System with a built-in 1.3 Mega Pixel camera and digital microphone, making instant messaging and online chatting effortless.

The Fujitsu LifeBook U2010 features the finger-friendly Microsoft Origami Experience 2.0 application, long battery life (8 hours), 60GB storage or 64GB SSD, and Bluetooth v2.1. On the inside, the Fujitsu LifeBook U2010 runs on the Intel Centrino Atom processor technology with Intel Centrino Atom processor Z530 (1.6GHz) and Intel System Controller Hub.

As with all Fujitsu PCs, this UMPC comes replete with a suite of security features that guarantees the confidentiality of your information. Ensuring that your confidential documents stay private is a 2-level BIOS lock and an Anti-Theft Lock Slot. In addition, the LifeBook U2010 has a Fingerprint Sensor which allows the encryption of sensitive files with a swipe of your pre-registered fingerprint since no password can be more secure than that of your own fingerprint!
