Like the existing iPad version, the new Blackboard Mobile Learn apps are available free at app stores. They recreate and enrich the course experience of Blackboard Learn, the leading online teaching and learning platform, in native applications designed specifically for each mobile platform. With the apps, students can check grades and assignments, add discussion board comments and blog posts, email their classmates and instructors, and more.

Leveraging the unique user experience of each platform - like the Android HTC EVO 4G running on Sprint 3G and 4G, the apps offer students an immersive and engaging way to access their course work and interactive learning opportunities.

Benefits include:

The Sprint and Blackboard partnership offers Blackboard Mobile Learn to users of Sprint devices at no additional cost to higher-ed institutions.

Students can experience the real benefits of mobile learning on cool devices such as the HTC EVO 4G running on Sprint 3G and 4G.

A perfect complement to Blackboard Mobile Learn (available free on select Wi-Fi enabled devices), Sprint 4G and the new Overdrive 3G/4G Mobile Hotspot can provide blazing fast speeds on any Wi-Fi-enabled device. These technologies can support students, gathered in portable hotspots, downloading huge files, viewing video lectures, and accessing collaborative discussion boards powered by Blackboard Mobile Learn and Sprint 4G.
